Dr. Khan's Book Launch - Delhi
Dr. Khan’s recently published book The Politics and Law of Democratic Transition: Caretaker Government in Bangladesh had a very successful book launch in Delhi.
Upendra Baxi of Warwick University, Professor MP Singh of National Law University Delhi and Emeritus Professor of South Asian Laws of School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London Dr. Werner Menski were present. There were also representatives from many universities in India and also a lecturer from the Humboldt University in Berlin, where they teach South Asian law.
Professor Menski spoke about the book including the impact it has in the field of electoral governance in the context of constitutional law whilst Dr. Biswajit Chanda of Rajshahi University provided further context to the book.Together they did an efficient and an excellent job that was warmly welcomed by international academics.
